drive by SAAB is a car blog. While I have many hobbies and interests, any of my friends will tell you that I am a huge automobile enthusiast. My first car was a 1987 SAAB 900S five speed. She was dark blue with grey-blue velour interior. It was that car that got me hooked on cars. Granted a 2.0 liter, non-turbo Saab is nothing special, but when it is your first car..... I've since owned a few different type of cars, but you'll notice a general pattern of three marques that I particularly like. And in my opinion the best of all of them, of course, is SAAB. Not that their cars were necessarily the fastest or the best engineered. But they were the best all-around cars that I have ever owned. Granted, if I get to drive a Bugatti I will drive it and post a review. But this is a normal car blog written by a normal car guy for normal car people and the focus is on 'normal' cars (i.e. under six figures). And please don't confuse 'normal' with 'boring'. I don't do 'boring'.
